Dr. Johan Varekamp, Wesleyan University, "Environmental Changes in Long Island Sound: Rising Tides, Hypoxic Waters and Shifting Ecosystems."
After the presentations attendees were treated to a behind-the-scenes tour at the Maritime Aquarium, during which they learned how the Aquarium staff cares for sharks, jellies, sea turtles and more than 1,000 other species.
